Front Loader Door Won T Open

Already tried unplugging it and starting a new cycle.

Front loaders have a locking mechanism to avoid opening the door during a washing cycle but occasionally this lock will be activated accidentally. If the door of a front load washer either won t lock shut or won t open it s likely that the door lock assembly is on the fritz. Waited a few hours and the door is still locked. Use a t 20 torx screwdriver to remove the three torx head screws along the bottom front of the washer.
