It was the second year of an amazing 12 day interactive community event co sponsored by sunset piano and the san francisco botanical garden. So imagine my surprise when i discovered flower piano at the botanical garden in golden gate park in 2016. In january of 2015 sunset piano approached sf recreation and parks with the idea of putting pianos throughout golden gate park. We proposed having twelve pianos in the garden for twelve days for anyone to play and feature local professional musicians on weekends.
